The eligibility criteria and requirements for the B-school are as follows:


  1. Graduation: Applicants should have completed a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.

  2. Work Experience: Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of work experience after completing their graduation. Ideally, the work experience should be less than 12 years as of March 31, 2020.

  3. GMAT/GRE Score: Applicants are required to submit a valid GMAT or GRE score. There is no specified minimum score, but the score is evaluated in relation to the applicant pool. Last year, the average GMAT score was approximately 709.

  4. Statement of Purpose (SOP): Applicants need to submit a Statement of Purpose explaining their motivation for pursuing the program and their career goals.

The IIM Bangalore Executive MBA Fee is as follows:


  1. Tuition Fee: Rs 21,19,000

  2. Accommodation Fee (Shared): Rs 1,50,000

  3. Accommodation Fee (Family): Rs 2,85,500

  4. International Immersion: Rs 3,00,000 (indicative)

  5. Refundable Deposit: Rs 20,000


Therefore, the total fee for the EPGP program with shared accommodation is Rs 25,89,000, and with family accommodation, it is Rs 27,24,500.

IIM Bangalore Admission Procedure 

The IIM Bangalore Admission Process consists of three stages:


  1. Preliminary Screening:

    • Candidates who meet the CAT (Common Admission Test) cut-off are selected for the screening process.

    • The screening is based on a composite score (CS) that includes an academic rating score (AR) and a normalized overall CAT score.

    • The academic rating score takes into account the candidate's 10th and 12th marks, as well as their work experience.


  1. Shortlisting for Analytical Writing Test (AWT) & Personal Interview (PI):

    • The Final Composite Score is determined by considering various factors, including academic performance, CAT score, work experience, diversity factors, and other relevant criteria.
