 Overview Uttaranchal University has been recognized by the UGC under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956, as well as by other State and National statutory authorities. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has conferred the prestigious "A+ Grade" on the University. Uttaranchal institution has made history by being the first institution in the state of Uttarakhand to achieve a NAAC A+ grade in the first cycle of accreditation. This places us solidly in the top 5% of HEIs in the country.
